| Domestic Clock Restoration by
Edmund Czajkowski & Son Ltd.
 |
Michael Czajkowski, of Edmund Czajkowski & Son
Ltd., the present owner of the firm, assembling a long case
clock movement, after rebushing worn bearings.
Clock restoration has always been an important part of our
business.
Situated in Woodhall Spa, near Lincoln, in Lincolnshire within
the East Midlands, England, we conserve and restore clocks
(cases and movements, see illustrations below). We also restore
painted clock dials and brass dials for all kinds of longcase
and bracket clocks and timepieces (this is the correct name
for clocks which do not strike).
We restore either the movements, the cases, or both, as our
customers require.
We overhaul Longcase clocks (commonly called grandfather clocks),
wall, bracket and mantle clocks of all types. We have restored
a variety of English and continental clocks, including French,
German and Dutch clocks either with pendulums or with a variety
of platform escapements.
We can supply both cast iron and lead weights for weight driven
pendulum clocks.
|
| Examples of our can be found in museums, collections
and private houses throughout Lincolnshire, the East Midlands
of England, and in other countries in Europe. |
